Horseshoe Sculpture Artwork

Here we have some very impressive horse show sculptures.  People have been playing horse shoes for a thousand years (or since whenever people began riding horses…) but people did not think to start making horse shoe sculptures until recently.  The thing you have to remember about horse shoes is that horse shoes are a particularly beautiful object – the curvature, the shiny metal, all make up for a beautiful item.  Inanimate objects like horse shoes offer a unique opportunity to artists because they lack significant material value (most of the time). Take a look at the first sculpture, for example.  There are over 300 horse shoes making up this figure.  The artist probably acquired the horse shoes for free, so this sculpture did not cost him a dime to create!
