This article will tell you about types of fuel camping stoves use and will compare and contrast camping stoves bought in America and the UK.  The two major things to examine in a camping stove from the UK is the type of fuel that it uses.  The two main types of camping stoves are cartridge stoves and liquid gas stoves.  Cartridge stoves are usually lighter than liquid gas stoves, burn cleaner, and don’t have to be maintained as much as some other types of camping stoves from the UK.  As a general rule, they are also cheaper than liquid gas stoves.  But they are far from perfect:  Cartridge stoves use compressed gasses which have to occasionally be purchased (and carried on the trip), are less efficient in cold weather, and are difficult to light in stormy weather.  Your other major option is a liquid gas stove; however, these are quite a bit heavier than a cartridge stove and are also a little more expensive.
